We are committed to getting to every door in the Shalimar neighborhood personally with a request to sign the Stop the Rezoning petition and a handout about the current development proposal. Even nearby neighbors don’t have the facts!

Next, we’re raising awareness on social media about the critical loss of green space and environmental consequences of the current proposal. We want everyone in Tempe and beyond to sign the online petition.

• The Shalimar Association and its many supporters are opposed to rezoning of the Shalimar Golf Course property. 
• The Shalimar Association along with the entire community, are working to maintain a historic, iconic, and beloved gem of Tempe, and save what is one of the last large green spaces in Tempe.
• We support working with the Property Owners, the City of Tempe, and all Interested Parties toward a favorable outcome for all stakeholders.
