A mission-critical part of the Save Shalimar strategy is for all supporters – homeowners, golfers, nature lovers, and neighbors – to make their views known to City Council members now and through the fall.
We have set up a schedule to coordinate volunteers to ensure that the Shalimar community is represented all city council meetings in person or online. To join the effort, please email info@saveshalimar.com.

- The Shalimar Association and its many supporters are opposed to rezoning of the Shalimar Golf Course property.
- The Shalimar Association along with the entire community, are working to maintain a historic, iconic, and beloved gem of Tempe, and save what is one of the last large green spaces in Tempe.
- We support working with the Property Owners, the City of Tempe, and all Interested Parties toward a favorable outcome for all stakeholders.
- Let’s work as a community to find a better solution for all of us. Shalimar is worth saving for all of Tempe!
